The unofficial end of summer, Labor Day weekend. This civic holiday is meant to help us celebrate the worker, and to give a day off as we do so. Each Sunday we are invited to take space and make room for Sabbath, a day to rest from our toil and trust in the Lord. This day we finish our series on the face to face encounters Jesus had with people in the book of John. We put our hearts before God and seek to learn about wholeness and Christ’s heart for us. John 5:1-9 will help us hear from the Lord.
