As Christians, the hope we have to share with the world is due in part to the bigger picture we have. Life is about more than just what we have directly in front of us. How the world is doing isn’t subject to the headline news cycle. Jesus came to be our Christ, to show us that God is always up to something more than we can see in the moment. Jesus shows us that the greatest of our victories come only after darkness. Let us seek the hope of Christ in his words from Luke 6:17-26 as we worship this morning.
