We can get so comfortable with our beliefs and opinions that the conclusions we’ve come to about what is right gives us an assurance that we are on God’s side. Even when all our beliefs and actions line up with the lives God has called us to, it was not those things that caused God to love us in the first place. We must remember that Jesus loved us “while we were still sinners” and that he loves even those who hold different beliefs and who don’t behave really well. As we continue our series Altogether Different, we will let Ephesians 4:1-7 guide us as we look for the reminder about God’s grace and how in the LORD’s love all people are being invited into relationship with Jesus.
