God’s timing can be excruciating to wait for at times in our lives. There is peace in knowing that Jesus cares for us and meets us in our season of need, but his care and provision don’t always come at the time we expect. This morning as we look at another face to face encounter with Jesus from John’s gospel we see two sad sisters. Sisters who knew their sadness wouldn’t be if Jesus had worked quicker. Let John 11:21-27, 32-37, help guide our hearts as we consider this difficult reality of our faith.
