It would be easy to understand how a Holy God could get very upset with the people who have ignored the ways he has called us to live. Yet when God came to creation, not only did Jesus Christ not bring judgment, but he allowed humans to inflict punishment on him. This is the true power of love that has flipped the universe upside down. As we look to hear from the Lord in John 3:14-21, we turn our hearts to the one that allowed them to break his body on our behalf. May we worship with gratitude.
