We never need to look very hard for evidence for the ways the world is broken. We have walked another week in a world with war, political drama in congress, and a shooting in Maine. Those are the things a little further out, and no doubt there have been difficulties closer to home in the life of someone you care about, or even for you. Yet the trouble is never bigger than God. Jesus is always on the move. His love endures forever. Worship this morning will be a time of remembering what Jesus does, of seeing evidence of the Spirit’s work, rejoicing in the midst of the storm.
