We left off in the middle of a story last week. Jesus had begun his public ministry, and people around the area of Galilee are responding really well. People are interested in what he has to say and they are praising him for saying it. This is even true as he goes back to his hometown, until all of a sudden it wasn’t. How did they go from having praise for the home town boy grown up to being ready to throw him off a cliff? Let’s gather to see what is happening at this moment of Jesus’ life and what God might have to say to us through it. Luke 4:21-30 will be our guide.
