Mary, the mother of Jesus, has been called the first disciple of Jesus. She was indeed the first to hear the call to receive him into her heart and then faithful to bring him into the world to share with others. As we worship today, we reflect on her example in Luke 1:26-38, and look to respond with our own “yes” to what the Lord is doing today.
