The Apostle Paul talked about a “thorn in the flesh” that he asked the Lord to remove, yet it remained. Even Jesus, in his time of need prayed for a different path forward knowing he was about to be arrested. We know life as Christians brings us blessings, but that we still have hardship. However, sometimes those difficulties seem like they are more than we can bear. Romans 8:31-39 helps us as we worship and seek to find the grace for the harder moments in life.
