YOUNG ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSFeasts:  in the constantly changing world of the 21st century, people everywhere are hungry for something stable and lasting.  Feast is an answer to that hunger.  We will take a journey of remembering the six major feasts of the Jewish calendar, examining their historical meaning and helping us as Christ-followers to discover the richness of tradition and what those timeless practices mean today.  Maybe we don’t need another new idea.  Maybe we need some very old traditions to remind us that in a constantly changing world, God never does.  So pull up a chair.  Let’s eat, along with generations of God’s people before us, and remember.  In the Family Life Center.

The Homebuilders small group study, “Mastering Money in Your Marriage” is continuing to meet every other Sunday – June 1, 15 & 29 at Jen and Ethan Waterman’s home at 6:30 p.m.

WILD MEN IN THE FAMILY TREE
Session Two

What was it like to worship God on the American frontier? Who were the Circuit Riders and what were they like? What was a Camp Meeting and why did thousands of people go there? Were there Camp Meetings near Springville? What happened when "the power of God" came down? Why did preachers get into scuffles with "rowdies?" How could a minister with no formal education be a founder of a university? What was it like to live in constant danger, with no permanent address? Why did hundreds of people suddenly fall to the ground like they’d been shot? How did our spiritual ancestors feel about slavery and the Civil War? Why did pastors hold public debates and what were they arguing about?……On two Mondays, June 9th and June 16th.in the Yellow Room at 10:00am. Pastor Greg will lead us as we take a trip back in time to the beginnings of our church and the Methodist movement in America.
