Some places are hard to be in. Places where people are angry, where hostility is directed your way. Places that are cold and unwelcoming. While being present in such places is hard, by being present with Jesus regularly, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring a different presence with us to various situations. On this third Sunday of Advent let us consider how to be present in such a way, by first being present with Jesus in worship. Luke 3:7-18 will be our guide today.
