Our congregation is filled with followers of Jesus who are generous with what God has given them. Not only do we look for the needs of others within our community, but beyond our walls, looking to share the good news to the world at large. There are many ways to approach missions, and we have looked to live out our mission work in the context of relationships and working in partnership. We are blessed to have both missionary couples we partner with be connected with S1UMC because they grew up in our church. We are blessed to welcome David and Carol Ingersoll (Carol grew up in Springville!) come and share with us today. Mark 6:30-44 will be our guide as we worship the Lord.
